Neo Druidism
The haunting ancient Celtic Carnyx is the sound the Roman soldiers would have heard their Celtic enemies make. Today it makes a slight cough and a croak, followed by a giggle from its player, before the sound gains its composure and takes off through the air like a sinister blast from the past. The signal sets the parade of people in white, blue and green capes in motion - the brotherhood of welsh, Scottish and breton druids stride towards the ceremonial site in the woods. What exactly is druidism, and what does it look like today?
